Job Description:
- Monitor dairy cows for signs of potential disease to maintain optimum livestock health and ensure high-quality milk production.
- Milk dairy cattle while keeping livestock calm and comfortable to ensure maximum milk output.
- Inspect pens, buildings, and farm areas to ensure proper hygiene, reducing the risk of injury or disease for both livestock and farm workers.
- Operate tools and equipment to efficiently move feed, animals, and other materials around the farm.
- Maintain trucks, tractors, milking equipment, and other gear to ensure they remain in working order, minimizing repair costs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
- High school graduate.
- Experience in dairy farming in New Zealand (North & South Island) is a plus.
- Must possess a Non-Professional Driver’s License.
- UKVI IELTS with a score of 4.0 in each category is required.
- TESDA NCII Certificate is mandatory.
